Brian Dubiski, Vice President of Direct Innovations, has over 15 years automotive retail experience. He graduated with an economics degree from Texas Tech and began working for dealerships selling cars while in College. He excelled in all areas of the dealership including car sales, finance director, sales management, GSM and GM. His retail experience includes working for two of the top 10 Toyota dealerships in the country. He then moved onto run : Sterling McCall Toyota and Fred Haas Toyota. He then moved on to run the Gullo Toyota store in Conroe and over his 8 year tenure helped them reach large goals within the 20 group as well as numerous Presidential Awards. He understands all facets of the dealership and was a decision maker dealing with hundreds of vendors. This experience is invaluable in helping Direct Innovations better understand the automotive retail environment.
Brian currently holds an equity position in a wireless technology platform, where he sits as a board member and is currently a partner in a retail wireless platform that operates a 40+ chain in approximately 25 states. Brian brings a vast knowledge of operating within retail environments coupled with leading industry technologies to support and empower the retail process. He is currently cultivating markets within wireless channels and has been concentrating on expanding Direct Innovations into many other vertical retail channels such as medical/hospitals, automotive, OEM’s and all retail store environments that are dedicated to increasing sales and the customer store experience.
Joe Berilgen, Vice President of Sales and Marketing has vast experience in the Food &Beverage , Hospitality , FMCG products , Finance , Medical and Education segments. Joe has a BA degree in Advertising/Communications and a MBA in International Business and Finance. He was Marketing Director for Pepsi Cola , Senior Director of Marketing Operations for Marriott Hotels & Restaurants , Director of International Business Development – Food and later Managing Director of Business Development – East Europe & Middle East for Mars Incorporated , General Manager for Coca –Cola in Turkey , CEO - Member Board of Directors for Carlsberg /Tuborg Beer in Turkey , Bulgaria , Croatia , and President of Yasar Group responsible for International Business in 22 countries(managed Food , Beverage , Hospitality, Medical, Education divisions). Joe speaks 4 languages, has lived in 8 countries and operated in over 80 international markets.
Melissa Ornelas, VP of Business Development, joined the Direct Innovations team in September 2007. It is a mutually beneficial partnership due to the exponential growth of DI and her 30+ year automotive career. She began in 1979 in Corpus Christi,Texas with Menger Oldsmobile Honda. She was among the few successful female additions to the industry at that time, proving her tenacity and tireless comitment. She went on to work for only five dealerships throughout her career including: Menger Auto Group, Nyle Maxwell Vehicles Unique, Autonation, Classic Auto Group, and Bradley Group - her lengthy tenure showed her passion and loyalty to this industry. Her success as a dynamic addition to their team catapulted her to leadership within virtually all positions within the dealership: including New and used car salesmanager,finance manager,BDC manager, and Marketing Director. She has represented and understands virtually every make and model within the industry. This extensive knowledge and experience allows her to develop business for Direct Innovations in the automotive sector and sets us apart from our competition.
Alexeis Cruz, Graphic Designer, has a degree in Industrial Design from ISDI (Higher Institute of Industrial Design), Havana, Cuba. He has over 8 years of experience developing projects in many fields of design such as ; corporate identity development , web development , business logos, posters, signs , booth/stand merchandising and Point of Purchase visual aids development , furniture/ household product designs , automotive product and advertising graphic design , editorial design .He has several National level design awards in his country of origin. Alexeis speaks English and Spanish, and his professional experience enables him to work with software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, Photoshop and CorelDraw X4 as well as 3-Dimensional management software.
